Uploading Data
Enter or upload one-off readings that didn't come through your normal feed.
Your regular meter reads arrive automatically through your configured data feed — you don't need to do anything for those. The File Upload action (under Actions in the main nav) is for the exceptions to that: a field technician's manual read, a small backfill, or a one-off correction.
Despite the nav label, the dialog itself is titled Insert Register Read, and has two tabs:
Drag and drop, or browse for, a .cmep, .dat, or .csv file — multiple files at once, up to 50 MB each. This is meant for a small file of ad-hoc reads, not your routine daily feed.
This is a different, smaller path than your automated daily import — it's for filling gaps and one-off corrections, not bulk ingestion.
